Cong Receives ASP-DAC Award

UCLA Professor Jason Cong and former students Guojie Luo, Jie Wei, and Yan Zhang received the 10-Year Retrospective Most Influential Paper Award at the 22nd Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference (ASP-DAC 2017) in Tokyo, Japan. Their winning paper, "Thermal-Aware 3D IC Placement Via Transformation,” was published at ASP-DAC in 2007. Cong’s group also received a 10-Year Retrospective Most Influential Paper Award at ASP-DAC 2015.

ASP-DAC is an annual international conference on VLSI design automation in the Asia and South Pacific region, one of the most active regions of design and fabrication of silicon chips in the world.
