Mahlke Named 2015 IEEE Fellow

University of Michigan Professor Scott Mahlke has been named an IEEE Fellow, Class of 2015, "for contributions to compiler code generation and automatic processor customization." IEEE bestows this recognition for "outstanding and extraordinary qualifications and experience in IEEE-designated fields" and making "important individual contributions to one or more of those fields."

Malke's research focuses on compilers, computer architecture, and high-level synthesis, and he leads the research group Compilers Creating Custom Processors.
