Luwa Matthews serves as the Research Coordinator for C-FAR. He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. His research interests lie in computer architecture, including verification- and security-aware architectures, energy efficient systems, and heterogeneous architectures. The focus of his PhD thesis was on designing protocols across the hardware/software stack specifically to be amenable to scalable formal verification.
Dr. Matthews received his B.A in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics from Luther College in 2012 and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University in 2017.
